FAQs

FESTIVAL INFORMATION

  • Hills Food and Wine Festival is held at Bella Vista Farm, just off Norwest Blvd.

  • Gates will open at 11:00am and service will conclude at 6:00pm.

  • We will assess the grounds and make a decision with Hills Shire Council to see whether it is safe to proceed. We will keep you updated via socials and email!

  • Yes! Our amazing Kids Sponsor, FitKidz has a whole zone of fun activities! There is also facepainting, amusement rides and a park on site.

  • Yes absolutely! Live music, cooking demos, and interactive experiences throughout the day.

  • Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited on the grounds of Bella Vista Farm.

  • No, we ask that all attendees support the businesses at the event by purchasing directly from them.

    NO alcohol can be brought into this event. This is a licensed event/premise.

TICKETING

  • Yes! Anyone over 18 will need a ticket to enter as this is a licensed event.

  • Tickets for the festival can be purchased online through our ticketing website or at the door when the festival is open on the day. Other ticket providers will not be accepted- please only purchase through our humanitix ticket page.

  • Kids under 18 are FREE!

  • Yes you sure can, however we encourage you to look our for early bird discounts & grab one sooner rather than later!

  • Sorry no refunds. However in the case of a cancellation due to severe weather, we will carry your ticket over to the new date.

TASTINGS & TOKENS

  • Branded reusable cups will be available for purchase on the day for $10. The glass is required for tastings and/or purchase of a glass/es of wine.

  • No — only the official branded festival glass will be accepted for tastings.

  • How do tasting tokens work?
    To enjoy an alcohol tasting, you’ll need to purchase tasting tokens.

    • 1 tasting token = a 40mL taste (standard serve).

    • Some vendors may offer variations, for example 2 x 20mL tastings for 1 token.

    • If you’d like to purchase a glass of wine, this can be done directly with the vendor using cash or EFT.

    Purchasing tokens isn’t just about keeping things simple — it also ensures our wineries and distillers receive a fair portion back for every tasting, so they’re not pouring all day at a loss.

GETTING THERE & ENTRY

  • There is FREE parking at the farm, however, we do encourage you to catch our FREE shuttle bus from Bella Vista Metro!

  • Yes, limited accessible parking is available close to the main entry.

  • We have a FREE shuttle bus running from Bella Vista Metro to the farm from 11-6pm. We highly encourage you to use this service.

ON THE DAY

  • Free drinking water can be found near the toilets/stage as well at all our alcohol stalls. Bottled water will also be available for purchase. We encourage you to BYO bottle to refill throughout the day.

  • Yes please! We love your fur-kids — please ensure they are well socialised and MUST be on a leash!

  • There are toilets available on site, including disabled and changing facilities.

  • We have Medifast on site to provide assistance throughout the day if needed.

  • We are all about good vibes so we will have Police & Security on site throughout the day to ensure everyone is having a safe and enjoyable day. Antisocial behaviour and failure to comply with festival rules/license conditions will be removed from the premises.

  • As tempting as it is, our liquor license strictly prohibits bottles to be opened and consumed on site. Please respect this, as fines may be issued by licensing police.

  • Yes! there will be vendors offering dietary friendly options. We encourage you to check in with stallholders to see what you can enjoy!

  • Bring good vibes, a bottle of water, sunscreen, a picnic mat or camp chair & ID!
